The Big Top Cupcake

Here is what they claim their Big Top Cupcake will look like after you follow the directions meticulously as I did. I was meticulous to say the least. I watched over it with giddy anticipation. "Oh... the joy this will bring our family," I thought. I will be the talk of the neighborhood.
Here is what my Big Top Cupcake looked like.

Damn the Big Top Cupcake inventors. They lured me in with their promises that I could make a cupcake that is 25 percent larger than a typical cupcake and I thought "now, that looks as easy as pie, I can do that" and I ran down to the local gadget store and spent $21.87 of my hard earned cash on it, knowing that the three piece rubber contraption only cost the Big Top people .67 cents to make.
But if I could bake an enormous cupcake it would be worth every cent.

And THIS??? is what I produced.

Well... 2010 is a new year. And I am no longer content with mediocrity. I will pursue this endeavor with unwavering determination until I produce a Big Top Cupcake that is equal to or better than those "seen on TV". This is my New Year's Resolution. And I can't think of a better one than that. Just you hang on to your seat... a cupcake worth bragging about will be the center of one of my posts very soon or I will consider this year a complete and total failure.

At the very least we had fun eating it and it tasted delicioso, if you closed your eyes. Look at my cute husband, he is so happy.

Well if the promise was to produce a cupcake that was 25 percent larger than a normal cupcake, then you exceeded the promise by a lot. That cupcake is huge!! At least 10 times bigger than a normal cupcake. Now if the promise was something else...say...to be beautiful, gorgeous or appetizing-looking then you've got grounds for your discontent. Either way, it looks like it was very tasty and it brought the family together around the table, what could be better than that???

Maybe once you have perfected it you can show me the ropes??
It was so fun having you here last week. Hope we can do it again soon.
Love you

I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this picture, I even took a picture of your picture on my phone and sent it to Emery, but I guess you already told him about your cupcake difficulties. Sorry I made fun of your cupcake behind your back instead of on your blog, lol. From now on I will leave you comments instead of blog-stalking you! Oh, and I am glad your cupcake worked out the second time! It looks so tasty, too bad I am on a diet or I would make one.
