Thank you from the bottom of my heart

I wanted to take a minute and thank a few people who have really gone above and beyond. First, my mom and dad. Not only did they drive up here once in the middle of the night to see the birth of the baby, but then they went home to help my sisters get their kids off to the first day of school and then they drove back up. They searched our area grocery stores for hours to find the perfect meals. Then they cooked and cooked for hours. Dad fixed our garbage disposal and probably a few other things. He and Raleigh were able to play a very much deserved 9 holes. And he ripped probably 20 of my stitches out making me laugh. Mom did no less than 45 loads of laundry, got out all the stains, folded at least 19,000 pairs of socks and kept up on my medication schedule. They also helped me get my kids off to school. It was so fun to have them here and such a big help.

I wanted to thank Russ and Shauna and Lindsay for being a huge support at the hospital and for coming to visit us several times during our waaaaay tooooo long 4 day stay and for bringing treats. Every time they came my spirits were lifted. I also want to thank Russ for coming over with pizza to welcome the big kids home. That was a very thoughtful gesture.

And finally, I want to thank my very hard working, very caring and sensitive husband for all you have done while I am recovering. I know you feel like you are doing all the work and for that I am sorry. Thank you for coming to the emergency room with me and for making jokes and helping me not be scared. I am a very lucky wife.

You ARE a very lucky wife and mother too. We're so happy that you're surrounded by such loving, caring people. It's a comfort to us to know you are so well taken care of. We had so much fun being with you and your family, the kids were darling and, of course, Peyton is TO DIE FOR!!! Thanks for all the kind words, we loved every minute of our stay with all of you. See you soon.
