Ya know 17 days really isn't that long. Especially when you think that you will be asleep for 1/3 of it and you will be working for 1/3 of it. Which really only leaves a girl about 5 1/2 days to clean her house, pack a bag, find and purchase bedding that matches a very difficult color scheme, pack up a daughter for girl's camp, pack up 3 kids for a week in Portland, clean out her car, register at the hospital, get her toe nails polished, find really cute socks to wear with the gown that ties in the back so at least her FEET look cute in the stirrups and get mom up here from St. George. Not to mention... find cute baby announcements, finish the lamp for the baby's room, make "it's a girl" goodies, and find a good bra.
I just LOVE scheduled inductions and doctors that go out of town 4 days before your due date. I just love pitocin and only 4 hours of labor instead of 24. I just love knowing exactly when it will be and being totally prepared. I just love getting to spend the entire week before with just my husband and NO kids.

A GREAT day for a baby!! Can't wait! I don't think we have anyone in the family born on the 14th of any month (except Grandpa Bill - October), I like the 14th and, of course, she has her own month! No one would actually PLAN to have a baby in August!
P.S. I did some cute bedding at Target that might work with your nursery colors, have you looked there?
Oh gosh, I forgot Grandma Lou, November 14th, she'd be so mad at me.
I think its a perfect day to have a baby...I was thinking she was going to be born on the 17th...I would have had to push her back in and hold her there til the 18th! :)
Good luck with all the planning...and enjoy your husabnd for the week...cuz soon she will be all up in your space...all the time! :)
Oh the joys of motherhood, nursing, not sleeping, peeing your pants etc!
Oh how I envy you...I don't know if I can stand this waiting game!!:) I haven't even attempted to pack my bag yet, I feel like he's nowhere close to coming. But let me know where you find a good bra...I am clueless as to what I really need for nursing.
Hey Kac... Remember that night that we had 18 BYU football players and Shaun Bradley in our apartment at one time? And how that kid kept reliving "the game winning play" that he had made and he kept picking you up and telling you how little you were and we wanted to puke at his arrogance and we were baffled that we all didn't fall through the floor? I don't know why I thought of that, but I did and I had to run down memory lane for a sec. Congrats on the baby. Good luck in NOW 14 days.
I love that day. Can't wait to meet her. Our kids start school the day before... so I too am looking forward to that day!!!
Good luck with delivery- I can't wait to hear how everything goes.
I hope all goes well for you in these last FEW days of your pregnancy! Take it easy and get a pedicure! If the sheets don't match, that's OK for now, white works!
I'll be thinking of you! My husband gets his Master's degree on the 15th so I'll remember! Lots of celebrating all around!
Congrats Kac!! The 14th is a GREAT day! Kage was born May 14th so our babes will be exactly 3 months apart. I hope everything goes perfect. Love you Lady!!!
