Sunday Six

Six things that I am grateful for the week of January 25-February 1st.

This week was a very inspiring week for me. I had the opportunity to be touched by several people. My Sunday Six will mention a bit about them.

1. Caralee- Caralee is a new friend of mine and quite possibly the most inspiring woman I have ever met. She has the best life story. It is very interesting and I could listen to her talk for days. She took 20 minutes out of her extremely busy work day to talk to me and calm some of my fears. But most importantly, she inspired me to be brave and to stop worrying about things and to enjoy this blessing that I have been given. I left her completely uplifted. That is a good friend.

2. President Durfee- David Durfee is our Stake Sunday School President. I have never seen him before. But he visited our ward today and upon learing that our teacher had called in sick, volunteered to teach the lesson. And HOLY COW, what a lesson. It was one of those days a church that you think... I am so glad that I was here to hear that. That man knows the scriptures inside and out and could quote word for word probably any verse you threw at him.

3. Shauna- Thank you for such a good talk. I learned a lot about you tonight and I just loved all that you said. It was a fun night.

4. Raleigh- I just love you. I am the luckiest wife in the entire world. You make me the happiest girl everyday.

5. Emily- The little girl who was lost in my store for nearly 20 minutes and must have walked by 10 employees, but who ran to me from clear in the front of the store and threw her arms around me and said "I can't find my daddy, do you know him?" That made my day.

6. For a very successful Superbowl party. And for the opportunity to meet all kinds of fun new people.

As always, I LOVED your Sunday Six. Sounds like you had much to be thankful for this week. It seems that most of our prayers (both spoken and not spoken) are answered by other people who Heavenly Father sends into our lives as His instruments, it seems that He answered your prayers this week by all the various people you listed, what a blessing. Isn't it great to take a few minutes each week and remember all the things we have to be thankful for, there are many. I wish you another blessed and happy week.
