Sunday Six on Saturday Night

Six things that I felt grateful for the week of January 18-24th.

1. I had an INCREDIBLY emotional day on Thursday. Wow! It was a doozie. And I will in NO way blame it on hormones. It was just a whopper. I wanted to go to bed at like 4:30 and just try again on Friday. But to no avail. It may come as a surprise to some, but I am married to a communicator. He doesn't give up until I've purged it all out. Sometimes, I don't want to talk about it. But he persists. And in the end, it is a VERY good thing. It was a very good thing.

2. I had two whole days where I felt almost sort of normal. Making me think maybe I can see the light at the end of the tunnel if I squint really hard.

3. This particular week it rained and didn't snow and I drove really fast where ever I went.

4. I am having the greatest time watching Raleigh put this home theater together. He is simply a genius. And it is bringing him so much joy. I watch while I am laying on the couch. Occasionally I will doze off (actually more than occasionally) but then he will wake me up with the drill or the saw and I smile at the progress.

5. Brayden's first semester report card was a delight. He is such a cute little student. He also has THE BEST story about "pajama day" that everyone should ask him about. By the way... Thanks Aunt Kami for the feety pajamas which are the main character of the story. I just can't talk about it in such a public forum because to be honest it is really quite a gross story, but I laughed my head off and then I gagged a little.

6. I love the Lehi Legacy Center. I love the indoor track. I love that I can walk 2 miles a day for only 50 cents. I love the cute little old men that are there at the same time I am-- lifting 30 pound weights. They are in their 70's and still have the cutest little legs and you can tell they were farmers or ranchers because they are bow legged and that back in the day they worked really hard. I just walk along and smile that someday I will be old and wrinkled and my husband will be one of those cute little men I love so much. Only he will be a much younger old person than me. With the dang cutest legs ever.

This was such a great post, Kac. I'm so excited to see the new Lund Theater and I can't wait to hear the pajama story, I hope it's better than the one I've made up in my head. I'm glad you're having a few "good" days and I'm especially glad that you're not driving in the snow too much. I guess since walking for free isn't much of an option in the freezing cold, 50 cents in a pretty good deal plus you get to look at all those cute, OLD legs...how fun!! I don't think anyone who knows Raleigh would really call him a "communicator" but I'm glad you do!!! I love you and wish you a wonderful week.

What?! A home theater! I can't wait to see the finished project. Will it be finished by Superbowl Sunday? Hopefully you are close to being over the really nasty pregnancy days. Yuck! Hope you start feeling better soon.

I can't wait to hear the PJ story...I am so glad that a purchase of mine has brought entertainment and gagging to the family...thats what a littlest sister/aunt is good for!
I am excited for the home theater too. As soon as we are in a house of our very own I can start decorating the way i want too...oh a girl can dream!
Hope you continue to feel better and that the little one inside turns out as calm and collected as its Daddy!
Love you
