Six things that I am grateful for the week of November 9th through 16th
1. Our health. Eagle Mountain has been hit very hard with this flu bug. Schools were closed. Our bishop asked that families that have had the flu in the past week stay home from church. We very happily attended church today and so for this week, we have avoided it. Yeah.
2. For the gift. You know who you are and you know what the gift is. Thank you so much. You don't know what it means to me.
3. For weekly dates. I look forward to our weekly date nights. Sometimes, we just go to the store or for a midnight run to Maverick for ice cream or rice krispie treats. This week, we were able to spend the ENTIRE day Wednesday together. I love being able to talk, uninterrupted and laugh at least 400 times. We went to the Brick Oven and to several stores in the pouring down rain. We were also able to see James Bond on Friday... and even though I fell asleep, it was a delight to sleep next to you. I cannot describe how he makes me feel. I am married to my very best friend. Do you know how good that feels?
4. I had a very good talk with Kam. She has an honest way of saying things. I am grateful that our pasts are enough alike that she understands me on a level that no one else does and yet has a couple years of wisdom on me so that she can guide and direct me. I love that we feel the same way on a lot of issues so that I don't feel like a total "FREAK". It feels so good to be able to call someone in the middle of the day and say exactly how you are feeling, hiding nothing, being totally honest and leave feeling all the way better.
5. We have renters. Thank you Wellmans for moving in, sending me a big fat check and relieving MASSIVE stress. Now if we can just get them to stay for the entire length of their contract, pay all that they are supposed to and NOT BREAK STUFF, we'll be in business.
6. Our down comforter. I love it. It is so warm. I love laying under it at all times of the day to get all toasty. I love how fluffy it is and how puffy it makes our bed look. I am trying my hardest to get used to this cold weather. I am like an ice cube most of the day. I love getting in my sweats, getting under my big puffy comforter and feeling my toes again. It sounds lame, but it makes me happy

Hey, good job on your Sunday Six, Kac! (I guess I really don't have to say that since you already said it to yourself). WOW, and you got it done on Sunday too, I'm really impressed! I think it's fun to look for the good things that are going on around us and I'm happy that you have so many. I'm especially happy that everyone in your family is staying healthy. I wish you another fun week!
Wow I feel so privileged to be on your Sunday six! But more importantly I felt so honored that you thought to call me and have that chat! I am glad that you wanted to talk to your little sister who UN-fortunately has lived a similar life...and knows how BAD it SUCKED! I love you Kac...you really are turning out to be all that you have always wanted to be...and all I knew you were inside!
I just caught the FREAK comment and laughed LOUD!!! I know you already know this...but man you are hilarious!!
