What the Heck?? Another TEENAGER???

My little Quinners is 13.

Never in my wildest dreams on this day 13 years ago did I imagine that she would be as beautiful and helpful and well behaved and kind and loving and did I mention helpful??? How in the world did I survive an entire year without her? I can't imagine what "new baby" life would be like without her. She is a second mom, my second set of arms, my shopping buddy, the friend I need so much, my fashion consultant and comic relief. She takes Raleigh's jokes at her expense perfectly and never lets me down with having a constantly messy room. She loves her cell phone and her mascara and is as self centered as a 13 year old girl should be. She is my most spiritual child and works very hard on her Personal Progress, camp certifications and never misses church or activity nights. She is already 2 inches taller than me, her feet are a size bigger than mine and she is always digging in my closet for clothes. Which I suppose is flattering. I sure do love her and cannot express the overabundance of joy I feel that she is living with me again.

Happy Birthday Quincey
Thank you for all you do and who you are.

Perfectly and beautifully said...and what a cute picture. Quincey is ALL THAT and much more. I, too, am so happy that she is back in Utah where we get to see her on a regular basis. She is such a darling girl, I'm so happy to be her grandmother.

Wow- thirteen?!! I remember the night she was born, racing up to SLC from Provo, running through the halls of the hospital, opening the door to the delivery room just in time to hear the doctor say, "She is here". What a great night.
Happy Birthday Quinney- We love you so much. Can't wait to see you next month.
