I am five or six weeks away from having my baby. It is starting to be all miserable all the time. I have kankles and I can't sleep and I AM HOT. I am so happy that this Fourth of July blessed me with nice, cool cloud cover. We started the day at the West Jordan Parade. Grama Shauna was a witch on the Gardner Village float and she was darling. Complete with her sassy red boots. We were there with Lindsay, Grandpa, Court and all the kiddies.
We then met at Geckos for lunch. The food was delish and filling. And despite our going so far as to hide our checks under our plates, Russ and Shauna bought our lunch.
Then we went back home and met up with Russ and Kori who were in town as they are every Independence Day. They helped us make cookies and Kori told the funniest joke I have heard in a long time and I still laugh every now and then.

Then the 10, yes I said 10 of us went up to Murray for a backyard BBQ. There was enough food for 400 people. Again we were blessed with cloud cover and perfect weather. The kids and the dads played all sorts of games on the grass and the rest of us talked.

Then we went to the junior high to watch a magnificent fireworks show. I think we all had a really great day. Thank you Lunds for showing my sister and her family what a wonderful family I get to be a part of. It was a delight to introduce them to all of you.

Looks like a perfect day with darling pictures, of course, how can you go wrong with all those beautiful people. Thanks for sharing.
That was such a good time. Thanks to the Lunds for allowing us to crash their BBQ. It really made the holiday much more enjoyable. Raleigh has a great family and you are very lucky to be a part of it. Thanks for letting us shack up with you on Friday. It was fun to see all of you again. We should do it again... like "55 times"!
Loved reading this and seeing all the pics. But now you know how bad I need to hear that joke? You are surrounded by such great people. Lucky you! Hugs almost little momma Karen~
Thanks for such a great talk today. Everything you said made me feel so much better. I love "not being a girl" with you. It is truly refreshing to have a friend that actually keeps secrets and isn't catty or mean. It doesn't happen very often with women does it? I am lucky to have such a good friend
Kac... I am going to try and leave a message even though I don't have a blog yet. This is Nat. I look at your blog every day. I love it. I am so happy about your new life. I am so thrilled that you have FINALLY found the man of your dreams. I often get teary when you talk about how he treats you. No one deserves it more than you. He is darling. I will hug him if I ever get to meet him. You couldn't be any cuter. Congratulations on the baby. Glad it's you and not me. I am an OLD 38 year old not totally HOT like you.
