The Mighty Lunds: A tale as old as time

For Family Home Evening this week, we were able to go up to the Murray Park Amphitheater and see Beauty and the Beast. The whole family was there and we passed treats and Baby Dax back and forth and sang along. We loved it because it was a little chilly, but under the blankets was perfect. What a fun night and what a talented city Murray is.

The Mighty Story

We are the Lunds. I used to be Kaci Little way back in the day. I recently (in 2008) married the Love of my Life. I waited a very long time for him to find me. And I thank my Heavenly Father a couple times a day that he did. I am walking and talking proof that "It is never too late to live happily ever after" (which is my favorite saying).

I had four children from a previous marriage (Brayden, Quincey, Morgan and Allison Koenig) and Raleigh didn't have any. But he was meant to be a dad, so even though I am older than the hills, we needed to have a baby. In August of 2009 our sweet Peyton was born and she has changed our lives forever for the better. Raleigh and I could not love each other more and she is the product as well as the reminder of that.

Raleigh (or "the saint") as my parents call him, took on ALL of my baggage and there was a lot of it. And has worked a mighty miracle among us giving us blessings, a good example and leadership we needed for years and will be forever grateful to him for.

We are just trying to figure things out (the seven of us) and are having a pretty great time doing it. Read along... I am pretty honest... I am not one of those bloggers that only blog in good times and I am not afraid to admit our shortcomings. It makes it real. So read at your own risk, because what you read is how it is and it sometimes isn't pretty. But most of the time it's PERFECT!!!
