Sunday Six

This week I am grateful for...

1. My very wiggly baby finally moved up off my bladder.
2. I almost had 5 full days free from the teenagery nightmare that my NINE year old has been beating me down with on a daily basis for the last three weeks.
3. My Best Buy Services jacket with my name embroidered on it that I ordered on December 8th finally arrived just in time for 50 degree weather.
4. I fixed our broken dryer by myself by unhooking and reattaching several gadgets and gizmos and the clothes actually dry and the house hasn't even burned down.
5. Even though Phoenix was one of my most memorial vacations and I remember that I had the best time there and we were there exactly a year ago today. And as I was there, having a marvelous time... I, in ABSOLUTELY NO WAY imagined that I would be where I am today in the marital and "motherly" state that I am in. And so I will simply say that I am so glad that it is this year and not last year because this year is SOOOOO much better.
6. And finally... but maybe most important of all...food just may be starting to taste good again.

I enjoyed your Sunday Six Kac. I'm glad your little baby changed her position and gave you some relief. I'm really sorry about #2, I wish there was some way to help...prayer is my only advice. I really loved our little trip to Arizona last year too, what a difference a year makes!! In some ways it seems like it was a lifetime ago and yet I can remember almost every detail. I hope you have a really, really good week this week.

Sorry about MO-FO...that SUCKS! She needs a good kick in the A**!!...but this year is SOOOO much better than last even though I was getting engaged this weekend last year and I was so in love. I am MORE in love today and happier than ever!
Also glad to hear that the new Lund is cooperating a bit...nothing is worse than sneezing when your baby is sitting on your bladder!
Glad all is well!

I have two daughters, now ages 24 and 19, and the oldest one I would have sold for a nickel (knowing that nobody in their right mind would take her). The only consolation I can offer you is...well, s**t, I thought I had something. Telling you it will end one day doesn't help you now, but your daughter sounds like a strong willed character and they are some of the most interesting people. I only wish I had stopped yelling at her sooner and started listening more. Now, she is married, has a wonderful husband, and has given me a grandson, and though I still butt heads with her, I admire her strength.

As for fixing the dryer, dang, you are a Tool Belt Diva. Gizmos, doohickeys, and doibie things baffle me.

I can't believe you fixed your own dryer. Russ fixed ours a couple of weeks ago... now everytime I open the door, all I smell is natural gas. I know that one day I am going to start my dryer and get blown to smithereens! Quick easy way to go. I hear you with the teenage attitude. I sure am getting a ton of heavy sighing, rolling eyes, and smart remarks lately. I am NOT ready for all of that yet. AND the hormones!!! I thought that was supposed to be a girl thing. WOW.
