Sunday Six or Seven??

The week of November 30th to December 7th, I found myself feeling grateful for...

1. No snow being on the ground. I grew up in Sunny Southern California. I learned to drive on the 91, 55 and 57 freeways. I drive way too fast and cannot stay in one lane to save my soul. I never had to think about snow tires or steering into or out of a spin whichever it is, I don't even know. I don't like the thought of having to leave extra early so that I can drive really slow and hopefully behind a plow. And I don't ever want to have to scrape my windshield. I drove a bit while I was at the Y. I drove even less up at the U. I know that I am not a stellar snow driver. What in the world am I going to do?

2. My little fast offerings collector/sacrament passer. So Brayden is not the most motivated boy when it comes to things not linked to video games or girls. Yep, I said girls... Anyway, he tries hard to get out of collecting fast offerings or going to Young Mens or anything Scouting. But, he knows what is right and what he needs to do and he always makes the correct choices. I know he feels good when it is over and I know he felt good when he was able to say "yes, I did it" when Grandpa Russ asked him. Keep on him, Russ.

3. BYU beating those SUPER mean Aggies at Energy Solutions Arena. HA!

4. Raleigh. For a boy who doesn't talk much, he sure says just the right things and in the most perfect way. Thanks for another extremely amazing talk, Ral. I will cherish everything you said and stand by my take-a-ways. Let's have another sometime, but about a different subject

5. Wednesdays. For the rest of the year, we will have Wednesdays off together. It is the greatest thing in the world to spend the ENTIRE day with the one you love the most. So on Wednesday we drove up to Murray and shopped and ate at Parrothead. It was so super yummy.

6. A boss who genuinely cares about me and would do anything for me and who literally talks to me for at least an hour a day and makes me laugh all the time. If you have to be somewhere not that fun for 40 hours a week, it's nice to work with people you like.

7. Christmas Decorations.

Perfect Sunday Seven (I think I really like Sunday Seven) Kac...I loved every word of it. We are all so blessed to have so many things to be thankful for and I love that we are all looking for them. I'm glad your winter has been mild because I would be worried about you driving in the snow. I'm happy too about the "suite" BYU win. I'm also glad that you and Raleigh will have every Wednesday together for awhile, no kids, etc. that will be fun. I love your Christmas decorations...especially the garland on the stair railing...sooo cute. I wish you all another happy week.
