Sunday Six on Monday again.... Sorry

Sundays are too out of control for me to sit for two seconds, so please forgive

Six things among many that I am grateful for the week of October 27 - November 2nd

1. The cost of gas at my little corner Maverick here in the Ranches is $2.48

2. Quincey came to visit and Halloween Day with just she and I was perfect complete with Einsteins, shopping and baking. I miss her sweet spirit in my home and am so grateful that she came to stay with me for a couple of days. Thank you for great talks and for letting me know that I am still the one you want. You have no idea what that did for me. And even though we cried for way too long when we listened to "Slipping through my fingers," I will never forget it.

3. A husband that stays up all night talking to me and who holds me tight after scary dreams and goes downstairs with me to check on the kids

4. For feeling a part of a family. I miss my parents and my sisters a lot. I am so glad that I have Raleigh's family up here complete with parents and a sister to fill in each Sunday for the most delicious meals (even special no cheese portions), bawl with me at musicals, make little boy's birthdays memorial, give us all hugs and kisses, drag kids down the stairs on blankets, pay daughters for catching fly balls, coloring my gray hair every 5 weeks, pointing out all our good qualities and loving us even when we misbehave

5. Mom and Dad are home from Canada. I love that you get to travel and I live vicariously through you, but I can't stand it when you are gone. I know I am 300 miles away, but I still know that you are gone.

6. Halloween is over. Enough said

So Sweet Kac! Maybe I'm just having an emotional day like you, but I am bawling too. I am so thankful for all the things you mentioned, especially for Q and Raleigh and for Raleigh's parents who are filling in for us now that you are gone. We appreciate them and love them for loving you and your/our children. We love you all and are excited to see you this weekend.

What pressure?? No pressure, just what you put on yourself. We love hearing from you whenever...once a week, once a month, whenever. Like Pres. Hinckley always said, "just do the best you can." HA
