Six things that I am most thankful for the week of October 6th-12th
1. Raleigh- Don't be surprised if Raleigh is my number one every week. I am so grateful for him
and everything that he is and does and says and suggests. For every sound and movement he
makes and most of all for the way he treats me and makes me feel. I am so blessed that he is
in my life and that I get to be with him every day.
2. Raleigh's family- What an wonderfully perfect bunch of people. How did we go so many years thinking that our lives were complete? I literally get on my knees every day and thank my Heavenly Father that he has blessed us with such fabulous role models to pattern our lives after. If we can be half the people they are we will be amazing. I tear up when I think about the gift that they are to us.
3. Best Buy- I am so happy that in this horrible financial mess that our country is in both
Raleigh and I have terrific jobs that we LOVE for the most part. We enjoy our coworkers,
we get paid well, we have great benefits, flexible schedules, people who really care about us,
thousands of possibilities.
4. My family- I am so lucky to have had the support that I have had from my family for the
past 18 months. I could not have done it without them. They stood by me no matter what
came along and helped me so much. I went through some mighty changes during that time
and it would have been easy for them to say... We don't know you and until you are you
again, we cannot support you. But they didn't. They were there every step of the way. And
now I am back and better than ever.
5. Smart kids- SEPs were this past week. I got to go to two schools and hear how cute and
smart and funny and talented and artistic and creative my kids are. Brayden has straight As
Morgan reads at a nearly 6th grade level and Allie always has to be the first one finished with
her work, so she concentrates until it's finished and then runs it up to the teacher's desk. Oh
what fun it was to go and hear all those joyful words.
6. Northern Utah- Fall in Utah is the greatest. Even though it snowed on October 12th and is
bitter cold, I still love the beautiful mountains, the clear blue sky and all the fall decorations
on the porches. I love all the shopping and the wide range of restaurants and the hustle and
bustle. I love the memories of being at the Y. I love driving on I-15. I love the BYU/Utah
rivalry. I love all the temples and all the new temples being built and all the churches on
nearly every corner. I love that without a shadow of a doubt I am supposed to be here.

Wow- the pressure of the Sunday Six. Now that you have done it once... everyone will expect this every Sunday. I personally am not yet ready for that kind of commitment. Good for you for being brave enough to take on that responsibility :)
I will look forward to reading your blog EVERY Sunday. I am glad things are going so well. It's great that everyone is so happy. Hope we get to see you soon.
This was such a heartwarming post, I loved every word!! You don't have to feel any pressure to post a Sunday Six every week but it is fun to think about and remember all of our blessings and this activity just encourages that. Sometimes as I'm driving I suddenly get a rush of happiness and then thoughts come to me about how blessed I am, then I think...I'll include that in my Sunday Six, if I didn't write it down I'd probably forget it (maybe that's a Senior-thing). I'm so happy that you are so happy. Life is Good!!
I too am happy that you are so happy...and it feels great to have Kaci back...funnier than ever! Wish we got to be around all the humor more often!
